News.com.au featured an article on the Home Page a few months back titled “Crazy”: Bondi woman’s rent sparks outrage.

It turns out a woman, pictured in bathers (of course), was interviewed at the beach and mentioned her rent is $600 per week.
The article has everything: Attractive girl in a swimsuit. The usual ‘outrage’ line.
What the reader didn’t see, is it was a very cleverly disguised ad for Coposit St, an app that helps people buy their first home.
So fellow renters will read the article to also be outraged, and there, at the start of the second paragraph, is a mention of Coposit St.
A lot of businesses are using the street interviews to generate content, which then gets pitched to major media outlets in the guise of content – when it’s really an ad.
Nice work, Coposit St.
Clever and free marketing.
Cheers
