Sometimes when you’ve been in the business for years, and you do the same old thing day in day out, customers eventually lose interest.

Competition is always innovating, always advancing, and always trying new ways to excite their customers.

Because of this, one of the biggest mistakes you can make in business is stick to your guns and stay the same.

Don’t Bore Your Customers

Don’t make the mistake of thinking you can’t improve, can’t experiment and can’t try new things.

Even if your business was the bee’s knees when you started it, you must always do this:

  • Keep moving forward
  • Come up with new ideas
  • Be the most exciting, remarkable and innovative business that you possibly can be.

A Recent Example

A restaurant client of ours have had a quiet season for a little while now, despite being one of the highest rated restaurants on the Gold Coast on Trip Advisor and having an immaculate reputation.

They decided to give something new a try: a brand new menu. And it looks unbelievable! (Mouth is currently watering).

Yesterday, we:

  • Sent out a newsletter to all subscribers
  • Posted on Facebook and Instagram
  • Updated the website
  • Attracted media attention

Since doing this, website visits have skyrocketed, social media activity has boomed, and a few stories are set to hit to local paper very soon.

It Can Be As Simple As Changing Things Up

Introducing the new menu has attracted so much attention, that it goes to show how powerful a change in products/services for businesses can be.

So the big lesson out of this is that you should always look for new opportunities to evolve and grow.

Always grasp the interest of your customer’s with innovation, new ideas and remarkable service.

That’s a surefire way to watch your sales soar.
